路透7月9日 - 澳洲航空QAN.AX周三表示，在澳洲多年来最大的一次网络入侵事件中，超过一百万客户的电话号码、出生日期或住家地址等资料被窃取。
该公司称，另有400万客户在这次黑客攻击中仅被取得姓名和电子邮件地址。
继上周披露网络攻击事件后，澳航周三表示，在删除了最初受影响的600万客户的重复记录后，被入侵的数据库包含了570万客户的专属个人信息。
澳航在一份声明中说，目前没有证据表明任何客户的个人数据被泄露，公司正在积极关注事态发展。
澳航集团首席执行官Vanessa Hudson表示："自事件发生以来，我们已经采取一系列额外的网络安全措施，以进一步保护我们客户的数据，并正继续就已经发生的事故进行检讨。”
这是自2022年电信巨头Optus和医疗保险公司Medibank MPL.AX 遭到攻击以来，澳洲最受瞩目的网络攻击事件，这些事件促使澳洲推出具有强制性质的资安韧性法。(完)
