全球最大债券管理公司品浩（Pimco）的一位策略师表示，特朗普在选择下一任美联储主席时很可能会遵循传统做法。

　　Pimco全球固定收益首席投资官Andrew Balls表示，传闻中的人选“看起来都是非常合适的候选人”。

　　尽管鲍威尔的任期要到明年5月才结束，但特朗普已经表示他心中有多个候选人。热门人选包括Kevin Warsh，Kevin Hasset，以及现任美联储理事Christopher Waller，他是2020年由特朗普正式提名的。财政部长斯科特·贝森特也在考虑之列。

　　Balls补充称，对美联储主席的提名需要获得参议院批准，这降低了出现非常规候选人的可能性。
