0558 GMT - The last U.S. FOMC meeting's minutes are due for release, with investors looking for some insight on how the Federal Reserve reasons about monetary policy, SEB Research's Daniel Bergvall says in a note. The median forecast among Fed members in June was still two rate cuts for the rest of the year, but with a shrinking margin and a growing minority believing in unchanged interest rates in 2025, the head of economic forecasting says. "Uncertainty about the economy and tariffs was seen as still high, but still somewhat lower than before, and that we are still waiting for the effects of higher tariffs." SEB expects the Fed to cut the rate in September and for a weaker labor market to contribute to a total of three cuts this year. (emese.bartha@wsj.com)
