Altice USA's (ATUS) Cablevision Lightpath subsidiary is looking to sell up to $2.8 billion in asset-backed securities, Bloomberg reported late Tuesday, citing a filing with the New York Public Service Commission.

The securities would be backed by Lightpath's fiber network infrastructure and customer agreements, the report said.

Altice didn't immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.

Altice shares rose 4.1% in recent trading Wednesday.
