Siren Gold Expects Mining Permit Application Decision for New Zealand Gold Project by End of Year

Siren Gold (ASX:SNG) said it expects the mining permit application decision for the Sams Creek gold project in New Zealand's South Island to be made by the end of the year, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
It lodged the mining permit application with New Zealand Petroleum and Minerals on March 21.
The firm plans to complete infill drilling on the SE Traverse, Carapace, and Main Zone by the end of the second quarter of 2026, so the majority of the inferred mineral resource estimate can be upgraded to indicated.
The mineral resource estimate and scoping study will then be updated and released in the third quarter of 2026.
The project is owned by Sams Creek Gold, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Siren.
