Robin Energy Ltd., an international ship-owning company listed on NASDAQ, has announced a significant expansion of its fleet. The company has entered into an agreement to acquire a 2015-built 5,000 cbm LPG Carrier vessel from Toro Corp., for $18 million. This acquisition, approved by independent board members of both companies, will double Robin Energy's fleet size. The deal is expected to be finalized with the vessel's delivery in the third quarter of 2025, subject to customary closing conditions. Robin Energy plans to finance the purchase with existing cash reserves, aligning with its strategy to enhance cash generation and shareholder value.
