英伟达首席执行官一直强调美国企业需要获得全球最大半导体市场的准入机会，并经常访问中国。
黄仁勋呼吁放松美国技术出口管控，因为这给竞争对手带来不公平的优势。美国的管控实际上已经把英伟达排除在了最大的芯片市场之外，该公司预计仅本季度的销售额就会因此而损失80亿美元。
黄仁勋与特朗普会面的前一天，英伟达成为首家市值突破4万亿美元的公司，投资者对人工智能热潮的热情持续高涨，提振科技股整体表现。
特朗普周四早些时候在社交媒体上大力宣传该公司股价飙升，把科技股飙升作为呼吁美联储降息的理由之一。
“科技股、工业股和纳斯达克，创历史、纪录新高！加密货币‘狂飙’。自特朗普关税以来，英伟达股价上涨47%。美国正在获得数千亿美元关税收入，”特朗普写道。
