OpenText's Departing CFO Set The Stage For Growth in Short Tenure -- Market Talk

1305 ET - OpenText's outgoing CFO Chadwick Westlake has done some noticeable good in the short time he held the role. The timing of his departure in unfortunate, says Scotiabank's Kevin Krishnaratne, considering he officially started in March, but the analyst says many of the initiatives Westlake set in motion helped to put OTEX on "path towards its ambitions to deliver a stronger-than-historical organic growth story." The analyst expects a smooth transition "with current Chief Accounting Officer Cosmin Balota with years of experience serving as interim CFO as a search for a permanent replacement is complete," Krishnaratne says.
