RiverStone International names Enstar's Brockman as group CEO

By Rebecca Delaney

July 9 - (The Insurer) - Legacy specialist RiverStone International announced the appointment of Paul Brockman as group CEO on Wednesday.

Brockman joins RiverStone from rival legacy specialist Enstar Group (which was acquired by Sixth Street last week), where he most recently assumed the newly created role of group chief commercial officer in October 2024.

Other previous roles at Enstar include group chief operating officer and group chief claims officer, having joined the group in 2012.

Brockman will assume his new role in January 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.

He succeeds Luke Tanzer, who is set to retire later this year after 16 years in the role, overseeing RiverStone International from its time as part of the Fairfax Group to its acquisition by funds managed by CVC in 2021.

RiverStone International also announced that group chief financial officer Andrew Creed has expanded his remit to also include the role of group president.
