OD6 Metals Says Unit to Pay AU$7,500 Penalty For Violating NSW's Mining Laws

OD6 Metals (ASX:OD6) said its unit Gulf Creek Copper will pay AU$7,500 as a penalty for its offences for breaching section 378D of the Mining Act 1992, following a probe by the New South Wales Resources Regulator, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

By paying the penalty, Gulf Creek Copper will not be liable to any further proceedings, the filing added.

The company said it intends to make the payment and considers the regulator's investigation concluded.
