Azerion Group NV has announced a definitive agreement to sell its subsidiary, Whow Games, to DoubleDown Interactive, a segment of South Korea-based DoubleUGames. The deal is valued at €65 million, with an upfront payment of €55 million and a potential earn-out of up to €10 million. This transaction is part of Azerion's ongoing strategy to reinforce its focus on digital advertising, cloud services, and AI solutions. The sale follows the company's previous divestments, including its social card games portfolio in 2023, as it continues to optimize its portfolio and expand its core business offerings.
