摩根大通首席执行官杰米·戴蒙表示，民主党在多元化、公平性与包容性（DEI）方面走得太远，将意识形态放在比解决实际问题更重要的位置上。

　　戴蒙周四在都柏林外交部一场活动中直言，“我有很多民主党的朋友，但他们是笨蛋。我总说他们心地很好，但脑子不好使。他们不了解现实世界是怎么运作的。几乎每一项推出的政策都失败了。”

　　戴蒙此前曾表示，美国公司过于关注DEI，摩根大通将削减部分在他看来纯属浪费钱的DEI项目支出，同时继续致力于与非裔、西裔及LGBTQ群体合作。周四，他直接将批评矛头指向民主党。

　　“他们在DEI问题上做得过头了，”曾经形容自己“勉强算是个民主党人”的戴蒙说，“我们也致力于联系非裔、西裔、LGBT群体、残障人士，这些工作都在做。但他们做得太过了。他们必须脚踏实地起来，现在太意识形态化了。”

　　戴蒙还批评前总统拜登缺乏一个有商业背景的人来提供建议。他说，“我对政府缺乏基本知识的程度感到无语。”

　　戴蒙对民主党的批评还延伸到纽约市的市长选举。
