Chariot (ASX:CC9) said it completed the phase two drilling program at the Black Mountain lithium project in Wyoming, and it intersected mineralization grading over 0.5% of lithium oxide in five holes, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

The program consisted of 20 shallow reverse circulation percussion drill holes and a total drilling of 783.6 meters.

Geological mapping in the Southern Crest area confirmed the presence of pegmatite in outcrops, which will be evaluated as part of the next drill program. The firm is also prioritizing completing the drill testing of the Northern Crest and Northwest Flank areas, as well as the gap areas, given the understanding of the pegmatite orientations.
