快科技7月9日消息，微软前不久推出的Windows热补丁功能，这项功能最初仅支持x64架构的英特尔和AMD处理器设备，如今已扩展到Windows on ARM设备。

这意味着更多用户可以在不重启电脑的情况下安装重要的安全更新，从而减少停机时间和干扰。

微软在公告中表示，热补丁功能为用户带来了诸多好处，例如，安全更新可以立即应用，无需等待用户重启系统，这大大缩短了系统暴露于漏洞的时间窗口。

此外，IT管理员可以确保所有设备都安装了最新的安全更新，同时减少了用户必须重启系统的次数，从而提高生产力。

微软表示，自2025年4月推出以来，已有数百万台设备接收到了热修复更新，同时收到了"压倒性积极"的反馈。

当然并不是一直无需重启，在每年1月、4月、7月和10月，支持热补丁的Windows设备将安装累积安全更新并重启，而在随后的两个月内，设备将接收仅包含安全修复的热补丁更新，无需重启。
