USA Rare Earth said Chief Operating Officer Steve Ridge retired from the mining and magnet company July 4.
The Stillwater, Okla., company said Wednesday that Ridge would serve as a part-time consultant for three months to assist in the transition.
Ridge will receive a lump sum of $5,000 and a grant of restricted stock units worth $450,000, which will vest at the beginning of next year, the company said.
