Aehr Test Systems Sees Key Segment Hit by Slowing Electric Vehicle Market -- Market Talk

17:42 ET - Aehr Test Systems warns its core silicon carbide segment might not grow this fiscal year given stagnating growth in electric vehicles, which use the compound in batteries. The company continues to diversify its offerings as a result, including in gallium nitride power semiconductors, which have a wider range of uses and potential customers, Chief Executive Gayn Erickson says. The new segment is poised for significant growth over the next decade, Erickson says. (kelly.cloonan@wsj.com)
