374Water Inc., a leader in organic waste destruction technology, has announced its participation in a project with the Department of Defense's Environmental Security Technology Certification Program and the Colorado School of Mines. The project aims to evaluate technology solutions for destroying PFAS-contaminated wastes. 374Water will deploy its AirSCWO technology to treat PFAS liquid waste, known as foam fractionate, at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs. The company has previously demonstrated waste destruction results exceeding 99.99% in various projects. This initiative will showcase their ability to effectively treat PFAS-impacted waste streams, supporting the DoD's environmental sustainability efforts. The results of this project will be presented in the future.
