The lira TRYTOM=D3 traded at 40.0750 against the U.S. dollar at 0458 GMT, little changed from Wednesday's close of 40.05.
The main BIST 100 share index .XU100 closed 1.69% higher at 10,167.26 points on Wednesday.
GLOBAL MARKETS
Asian stocks rose slightly on Thursday, riding on optimism from Nvidia's brief rise to a world-record $4 trillion valuation and as investors largely shrugged off U.S. President Donald Trump's latest tariff salvos.
