Hubei Guangji Pharmaceutical (SHE:000952) said its application for human milk oligosaccharide 2'-Fucosyllactose (2'-FL) has been officially approved by China's National Health Commission.
2'-FL is recognized for promoting gut health, brain development and immunity and is now approved as a nutritional fortifier for various infant and children formula products, according to a Friday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.
