Ragnar Metals (ASX:RAG) said the results from its maiden reconnaissance rock sampling program, as well as a geophysical interpretation at the Olserum project in Sweden, confirmed the presence of iron oxide-copper-gold-style mineralization at several prospects, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
Initial field sampling confirmed two high-priority prospects with strong mineralization signatures, Domstugan, with results of 0.8% grade of copper, 1.2 grams per tonne grade of gold, and 48 g/t grade of silver from chalcopyrite-magnetite quartzite veins, as well as Tintorp, with 2.2% grade of copper, 0.3 g/t grade of gold, and 0.07% grade of molybdenum, in altered quartzite.
The firm plans to conduct detailed geological mapping at both prospects to better define structural controls and alteration zoning.
