Shares of G8 Education (ASX:GEM) fell nearly 3% in Wednesday trade after it said in a late Tuesday Australian bourse filing that it has identified an additional childcare center where a former employee, Joshua Brown, worked for one day in August 2023, following information requests from the Victoria Police.
On July 2, the company confirmed that Brown had been charged with child-related offenses.
The company has notified families whose children attended the centre on that day, the filing said.
