CuFe Ltd (ASX:CUF) said the indicated resource classification Orlando copper-gold deposit at the Tennant Creek project in the Northern Territory rose to 56% from 42% of the total as part of the June mineral resource estimate update following quality assurance and quality control review, per a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The firm commissioned technical consultants MEC in June to prepare an updated mineral resource estimate for the deposit based on the improved quality assurance and quality control data. This supported a localized upgrade in the mineral resource classification from inferred, which fell from 58% to 44%, to indicated.

Its shares fell almost 10% in recent trading on Wednesday.
