0240 GMT - The U.S. district court's decision on Hesai upholding the Department of Defense's designation of the company as a contributor to China's military strategy may lead to a panic sell-off in the short term, Daiwa analysts write in a note. However, the brokerage notes that Hesai has limited business exposure to the U.S. market, with less than 10% of the total revenue this year, while its LiDAR product has solid demand in China and Europe. Hesai Technology has good fundamentals and is on track to grow net profit since it turned profitable in 4Q, they say. That said, geopolitical risk has always been an overhang. Daiwa expects Hesai to consider listing in Hong Kong.(jiahui.huang@wsj.com; @ivy_jiahuihuang)
