Amid Uncertainty in U.S. Market, Strong Asia Travel Gives Booking.com Leg Up -- Market Talk

1319 ET - Truist says Asia's growing middle class, expanding transport infrastructure and a young and tech-savvy population makes it a booming market for travel sites. The analysts said 25% of Booking.com's geographic mix comes from Asia, a much larger foothold than competitors, adding that Saudi Arabia, India and Southeast Asia could supply rapidly growing travel demand. "While less discussed by investors who may have proximity bias to North American and European travel trends, we are highly and incrementally enthusiastic about prospects for Asia leisure," the analysts say.
