ATN International Inc. has announced a significant expansion of its network through Alaska Communications, aiming to deliver improved broadband services to 100,000 locations across Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau, and the Kenai Peninsula. The initiative promises internet speeds of up to 300Mbps with unlimited data, utilizing fiber-fed, fixed wireless technology. This expansion is set to enhance connectivity for businesses and homes, with no data caps or extra costs for installation and equipment. The service will be available in several Anchorage neighborhoods initially, with further expansion planned for Fairbanks, Juneau, and the Kenai Peninsula later this year. CEO Paul Fenaroli emphasized the importance of reliable internet for Alaskans and the competitive pricing that will accompany this service.
