摩根士丹利发表研究报告指，赣锋锂业预计中期净亏损介乎3亿元至5.5亿元，相较去年中期为净亏损7.6亿元有所收窄；反映次季表现介乎盈利5,600万元至亏损2.14亿元，相较去年次季为亏损3.56亿元。另外，中期经常性亏损净额达5亿元至9.5亿元，对比去年中期经常性亏损为1.6亿元；反映次季经常性净亏损为2.58亿元至7.08亿元，而去年次季经常性亏损为2.42亿元。该行认为次季表现大致符合预期。若江西宜春等地未见实质减产，近期价格反弹恐难持续，赣锋锂业第三季盈利仍可能承压。该行予其目标价14.3港元及“减持”评级。
