Baker Hughes Company has announced a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS) to explore business initiatives aimed at supporting Asia's energy expansion and transition. The partnership focuses on enhancing local supply chain capabilities and implementing technology solutions in areas such as LNG services, exploration and production, digital solutions including AI, and sustainable energy solutions like carbon capture. Baker Hughes will also expand its aeroderivative gas turbine services to develop a comprehensive repair facility. This collaboration builds on the longstanding relationship between Baker Hughes and PETRONAS, aimed at meeting the region's growing energy demands.
