Jacobs Solutions Inc. has been selected to lead the preliminary design engineering for essential upgrades to the Village of Versailles' water infrastructure in Ohio. The project involves enhancing the water treatment plant (WTP) and expanding the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP), both originally designed by Jacobs. These upgrades aim to maintain reliable service for a growing population, support local employers, and prepare for future development and regulatory changes. The WWTP's capacity will increase from 0.75 million gallons per day (MGD) to accommodate more significant flows, while the WTP will gain a parallel treatment train to boost capacity and flexibility. Jacobs will utilize advanced digital solutions, including the Digital OneWater suite and the Replica® digital twin, to optimize design and cost estimation. This investment ensures a sustainable, reliable water supply for the community's future.
