快科技7月13日消息，近日，搜狐创始人张朝阳与诺贝尔物理学奖得主David Gross展开了一场深度对谈，探讨了时空涌现、质量起源等前沿物理话题。
针对2024年诺贝尔物理学奖授予AI相关领域引发的讨论，David Gross特别澄清：“获奖者John Hopfield的突破性研究属于神经科学范畴，而非AI本身。”
作为John Hopfield在普林斯顿的同事，David Gross指出其研究基于物理学家思维，运用自旋玻璃等模型解释记忆机制，是物理学研究神经科学的典范。
David Gross强调：“AI并非科学，而是一种工具。”
David Gross特别指出，当前AI领域存在过度炒作现象，虽然AI能生成看似合理的内容，但缺乏真正的创造力。
此外，David Gross预言，未来AI可能取代的并非科学家，而是那些“只会说漂亮话的人”。
对此，张朝阳也表示认同，认为AI确实存在炒作和情绪化倾向。
