AKORA Resources Says Madagascar Infrastructure Development to Benefit Iron Ore Project, Shares Climb 4%

AKORA Resources (ASX:AKO) said infrastructure projects announced by the government in Madagascar are expected to directly benefit the firm's Bekisopa iron ore project, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The firm said that a recently completed city bypass road connects the port of Toliara to the National Highway RN7, for which the government announced funding for an upgrade. The government also issued an expression of interest for the design of the upgrade of the port of Toliara.
Its shares climbed 4% in recent trading on Wednesday.
