路透伦敦7月16日 - 安利捷汽车(Jameel Motors)和广汽集团601238.SS周三表示，两家公司签署了一份在英国销售广汽汽车的协议。这标志着广汽成为本月第四家携新品牌进军英国市场的中国车企。
广汽首批登陆英国市场的车型将是两款埃安品牌电动汽车--埃安V SUV和埃安UT，预计2026年第一季交付。
广汽国际负责人Wayne Wei在一份声明中称，“进入英国市场是广汽国际化战略的关键一步。”
在被问及广汽是否会通过安利捷引入传祺(Trumpchi)、合创(Hycan)或昊柏(Hyptec)等品牌进入英国市场时，该公司表示现阶段将聚焦埃安品牌。
广汽此前已宣布进军葡萄牙和波兰市场的计划，并于5月登陆巴西市场。
英国是欧洲仅次于德国的第二大电动汽车市场，6月出售的汽车中有四分之一是电动车，而且英国未对中国产电动汽车加征关税，这一点与欧盟不同。(完)
