Unico Silver (ASX:USL) found silver mineralization during a recent drilling at its Joaquin Project's La Negra prospect in Argentina, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The results were of up to 90 meters at 144 grams per tonne (g/t) of silver equivalent from 10 meters, including 1.3 g/t gold and 40 g/t silver.
The company added that mineralization remains open to the south and at depth, with drilling now confirming above 2 kilometers of strike along the La Negra structure.
Drilling at the project concluded at the end of June, and assay results for a further 29 holes for 4,374 meters remain pending, the filing added.
The company's shares jumped past 24% in recent Monday trade and earlier reached their highest since February 2021.
