IT之家 7 月 13 日消息，在英特尔持续面临财务困境并经历多轮裁员的背景下，该公司的一些 Linux 工程师去年离开了公司，而本周又有至少一名知名工程师在公司最新一轮裁员中离职。

据IT之家了解，英特尔的资深 Linux 工程师基里尔・舒特莫夫（Kirill Shutemov）已经离开了公司。在过去 14 年中，他一直致力于英特尔的 Linux 内核相关工作，涉及多个领域。最近，他主要负责内核中的线性地址空间分离（LASS）以及其他内存管理方面的研究。此外，舒特莫夫还深度参与了英特尔可信域扩展（TDX）的上游支持工作。在过去 14 年间，他还参与了英特尔在主线 Linux 内核中的诸多其他项目。

本周早些时候，舒特莫夫提交的一系列补丁引起注意。他在补丁中将自己的邮箱地址从英特尔的邮箱更改为了 kernel.org 的个人邮箱。至少目前，舒特莫夫仍然担任主线内核中可信域扩展代码的官方维护者，不过现在是通过他的个人邮箱地址来履行这一职责。

昨天，舒特莫夫证实了外界的猜测，他确实离开了英特尔。他在领英（LinkedIn）上确认，这是他在英特尔的最后一天，他在这里为 Linux 工作了 14 年。他将于本月底加入另一家公司。
