7月14日，Perplexity CEO阿拉温德·斯里尼瓦斯在硅谷创业孵化器YC的活动中表示，真正的创新正转向初创公司。

Perplexity从自然语言转SQL工具起步，逐步挑战谷歌。其核心战略是“浏览器+智能体”，希望通过整合智能体功能，实现任务并行处理、跨网页操作、数据自动调研等能力，打造“认知操作系统”。借助OpenAI/Anthropic的模型，Perplexity获得了比谷歌更先进的AI能力。

斯里尼瓦斯指出，Perplexity不可能在资源上击败OpenAI或谷歌，但可以凭借速度、产品打磨和明确定位在细分赛道占据先机。其变现路径包括订阅制、按任务付费、交易抽成。

此外，Perplexity强制员工使用AI编程工具，将实验周期从3天缩至1小时，并通过实时更新搜索索引和多步推理验证，显著降低错误率和幻觉现象。
