Canyon Resources (ASX:CAY) said construction of the inland rail facility in Cameroon has started following government approval for the site location, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The facility will facilitate the export supply chain for the Minim Martap project, the filing said.
The company also started upgrading the ore haulage access road connecting the project to the facility, per the filing.
