据《华尔街日报》7月17日报道称，知情人士称，美国富国银行(Wells Fargo)一名从事贸易融资业务的负责人最近前往中国后被禁止离境。
据知情人士透露，这名人士名叫毛晨月(Chenyue Mao)，出生于上海，现驻亚特兰大，是富国银行的董事总经理。她曾在6月底参加了在巴西举行的一次行业会议。在数周前进入中国。其公司邮箱的自动回复显示，她正在进行国际商务旅行。
知情人士称，在毛晨月被禁止出境后，富国银行已暂停所有前往中国的出差计划。
毛晨月是一位资深国际保理专家。她曾与中国企业和行业团体就贸易融资和国际保理事宜进行过合作和互动。她经常前往中国出差。
毛晨月也是FCI(原名为国际保理商联合会)的主席，FCI是一个从事保理和贸易应收账款融资业务的全球性企业网络。她于6月底在里约热内卢举行的FCI年会上当选为主席。
根据毛晨月的领英个人资料，她自2012年起就职于富国银行。FCI网站上的个人简介显示，毛晨月在保理领域拥有二十多年的经验，并领导了富国银行的“国际保理业务，并为跨国客户提供跨境营运资本战略咨询”。在6月份当选FCI主席之前，毛晨月曾担任副主席等职务。
富国银行在天津和上海设有商业保理子公司。
