摩根士丹利首席执行官Ted Pick表示，在私募信贷这片汪洋中，“潮流可能开始转向”。

　　该行业的繁荣根源在于2010年议员因应全球金融危机而出台规定，促使风险较高的贷款业务由银行转向新兴资产管理机构。如今，金融监管机构正在采取行动，放宽一些关键的资本规定，这些规定被银行称作阻碍。

　　“持续15年的堤坝正在崩裂”，而且“改革即将到来，”Pick在该行第二季度业绩电话会议上告诉分析师。他表示，美国六大银行的市场份额失守，部分源于“监管限制”，而现在“很可能正在回归正常”。

　　Pick表示，他所预期的变化并不意味着要从私募放贷机构手中“一美元一美元地”夺回市场份额，因为这个规模达1.7万亿美元的行业已经确立其定位。他补充道，但是全球大型银行“将能够重新夺回”其中一些份额。

　　无论如何，尽管存在竞争关系，通过为对手提供融资，银行已经在私募信贷行业中扮演核心角色。
