Foresight News 消息，据 hk01 报道，香港一名拥有逾 10 年投资虚拟资产经验的本地女子，近日因在虚拟资产平台申请优惠失败，自行在 Telegram 上寻找“客户服务”协助，却不幸两度坠入诈骗陷阱，共损失逾 400 万港元加密货币。对方谎称可提供帮助，并向事主发送一条不明链接。事主并未起疑，点击链接并按指示输入了“个人资料”、“账户号码”及“交易密码”等信息。等她再次登入虚拟资产账户时，风险部分资产已被转走，方知受骗。之后事主再次在 Telegram 上找到另一个“客户服务”账号，对方声称可协助追回被骗的虚拟货币。事主再次上当，在对方提供的假网站上输入个人资料，结果导致账户内剩余的虚拟资产也被转走。她连续中招，合共损失逾 400 万港元。
