快科技7月20日消息，NVIDIA本周宣布将恢复对中国H20芯片销售，且美国政府已保证将授予相关许可证。

据报道，美国众议院中国问题特别委员会主席穆勒纳尔（John Moolenaar）18日致函商务部长表示，恢复H20芯片对中国的销售将推进中国的军事实力，并强化其在AI领域与美国的竞争能力。

穆勒纳尔强调，原先的禁售令才是"正确的决定"。

穆勒纳尔在信中警告，H20芯片可能破坏美国在AI领域的优势，并可能帮助中国企业争夺AI模型的全球市场份额。

他指出，H20是一款具有成本效益且功能强大的AI推理芯片，远比中国本土芯片更为优越，因此将极大地促进中国的AI发展，他强调："我们绝不能允许美国企业将这些重要的AI资产出售给中国实体。"

穆勒纳尔要求商务部在8月8日前向其委员会做一次简报，解释这一政策调整的理由，他还要求商务部澄清美国将如何为H20发放许可证，以及最终会有多少芯片获准运往中国。

对此NVIDIA在一份邮件声明中重申了其立场，认为让美国硬件成为全球AI系统建设的基础符合美国利益。

NVIDIA表示："当全世界都依托美国的技术体系发展时，美国就是赢家。政府做出了对美国最有利的决策，这有助于巩固美国的技术领导地位、促进经济增长并保障国家安全。"
