快科技7月20日消息，据报道，NVIDIA已告知中国客户，H20芯片的供应有限，并且公司不打算重启生产。

近日NVIDIA公开宣布，H20芯片已经获得美国的批准，将重新恢复对中国厂商供应。

不过最新消息显示，由于美国4月的销售禁令，NVIDIA取消了在台积电预订的制造产能，导致H20芯片的供应有限。

H20是NVIDIA在2023年底专为中国市场打造的AI芯片，曾是NVIDIA在中国合规销售中性能最强的产品。

今年4月，美国政府以国家安全为由，禁止NVIDIA向中国出口H20芯片，担忧其可能被中国军方用于推进军事现代化等。

知情人士称，美国政府4月的销售禁令，迫使NVIDIA取消客户订单，以及在生产芯片的台积电预订的制造产能。
