- CBS PARA.O said on Thursday that it was canceling the most-watched show in late night, "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert," and ending a franchise that has existed for more than three decades.

- The U.S. Commerce Department plans to impose a 93.5% levy on Chinese graphite, an essential ingredient in the batteries that power electric vehicles.

- The U.S. Congress cleared legislation, known as the Genius Act, outlining the first federal rules for stablecoins, a popular form of digital currency.

- PepsiCo PEP.O plans to offer healthier, or cleaner, versions of some of its popular chip and drink brands, with no artificial colors or flavors, and add protein or fiber to them, as demand falters.
