日前，广汽宣布与全球顶级经销商集团安利捷签署合资协议，正式进入英国市场。安利捷将作为广汽的合作伙伴，将在英国销售广汽的新能源乘用车。根据计划，广汽两款全球战略车型AION V和AION UT将率先导入英国市场，并于2026年第一季度正式上市开启交付。
目前，欧洲各国对电动汽车的需求持续攀升，其中英国市场尤为突出。根据英国SMMT今年5月的数据，英国纯电动汽车（BEV）的注册量同比增长了25.8%，占新车销售总量的21.8%。这一趋势显示出英国电动汽车需求的快速增长，为广汽和安利捷的合作提供了有力的市场机遇。继今年4月携手开拓波兰市场后，广汽再次与安利捷深化合作，签署针对英国市场的合资合作协议。
广汽国际总经理卫海岗指出，通过与安利捷的战略合作，广汽集团能够将全新新能源车型带到英国市场，推动英国向更加清洁和可持续的出行方式转型。
今年上半年，广汽自主品牌海外终端销量累计同比增加45.8%。可以预见，随着在欧洲市场计划的深度实施，广汽必将为全球绿色出行带来更优的“中国方案”，打造出更具韧性、更具远见的国际化生态，成为欧洲、乃至全球消费者信赖的品牌。
