7月18日，中国银行发布公告，该行于当日召开董事会会议，会议审议并通过了聘任杨军为该行副行长的议案。杨军担任中国银行副行长的任职资格待国家金融监督管理总局核准。
官方履历显示，杨军出生于1972年，加入中国银行前曾在中国建设银行工作多年，2024年12月至2025年6月任中国建设银行集团资产管理部（养老金融部）总经理。2020年12月至2024年7月任中国建设银行山东省分行行长。2018年6月至2020年9月任中国建设银行风险管理部总经理。此前曾任中国建设银行风险监控部、风险管理部总经理助理，风险管理部副总经理兼市场风险管理部副总经理、总经理，湖北省分行副行长等职务。
杨军1996年毕业于清华大学，获工学硕士学位，2003年毕业于清华大学，获管理学博士学位。具有高级经济师职称。
