Hexaware Technologies (NSE:HEXT, BOM:544362), along with its wholly owned subsidiary, completed the acquisition of a 100% stake in the SMC Squared, Tech SMC Square India, and Tech SMCSquared (GCC) India, according to a Friday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
On Thursday, the company had agreed to acquire SMC Squared's Indian entities for up to $120 million.
With the acquisition, Hexaware will extend SMC's offerings in the global capability centers space to its broader client base, including existing Hexaware customers.
The company's shares were up 1% in recent trade.
