智通财经APP获悉，据报道，花旗集团(C.US)聘请了高盛集团合伙人David Friedland出任北美投资银行业务联席主管，成为新任银行业务主管Vis Raghavan近期一系列人事调整中的最新一项举措。
报道称，Friedland，将与近期从欧洲调任纽约的Jens Welter共同负责花旗北美投资银行业务，推动该部门在美国市场的增长。
备忘录显示，Friedland于1998年加入高盛，在高盛就职27年，曾负责高盛跨市场业务部门(Cross Markets Group)，专注于扩大公司在中等市场领域(指估值在5亿美元至20亿美元之间的公司)的布局。在该领域，他将高盛此前表现平平的业务，打造成了一个拥有逾200名员工、交易量显著提升的强大运营部门。
“金融投资方和中型市场客户仍是我们增长战略的焦点，”Raghavan在备忘录中表示，并指出Friedland在多个行业领域及私募股权客户方面的经验将有助于补充该战略。
据报，花旗集团一名发言人证实了备忘录的内容。
