Cleantech and waste management company Organic Recycling Systems (BOM:543997) has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Vasantdada Sugar Institute, Pune, India, according to a BSE filing on Tuesday.
Through the collaboration, both parties will jointly pursue research and development focusing on transforming agro-biomass, sugar industry waste, and sugarcane trash into high-value products and green energy. It will also involve joint consulting and validation assignments for new bioenergy and biofuel technologies and products.
The two parties will co-organize seminars, workshops, and academic programs to promote entrepreneurship and support start-ups in sustainable technologies.
Also, Organic Recycling Systems' employees can pursue part-time PhD programs at Vasantdada Sugar Institute, while the latter's students will gain industry exposure through internships and dissertations at Organic Recycling Systems.
