Stellantis (STLA) subsidiary Chrysler is recalling 121,398 model year 2023-2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L vehicles due to a potential issue with the second-row seat head restraints, according to a Tuesday notice published by the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The head restraints may not lock in the upright position, increasing the risk of injury to occupants during a crash, according to the regulator.

Chrysler dealers will inspect and, if needed, replace the second-row seat head restraints at no cost, the notice said.
