Pioneer Lithium (ASX:PLN) established an exploration target at the Warmbad project in Namibia, allowing for an initial quantification of uranium mineralization at the prospect, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The conceptual target stands at 22.2 million tonnes to 32.1 million tonnes of material at 100 parts per million triuranium octoxide to 120ppm triuranium octoxide.
The target has been identified through 32 kilometers of historic drilling, with all zones remaining open and to be tested by geophysics and drilling, the filing said.
The company is negotiating land access agreements with landowners and obtaining approvals from the Ministry of Mines and Energy, per the filing.
