Huatai Securities (HKG:6886, SHA:601688) issued a medium-term bond worth $40 million yuan, according to Shanghai bourse filing on Thursday.
The issuance is part of a $3 billion medium-term bond program launched in 2020.
The proceeds from the latest issuance will fund the Chinese securities company's business development and daily operating needs.
The company's Shanghai and Hong Kong shares both jumped 3% during morning trade.
