TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned railway operator PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) is once again hosting a major promotional program through its KAI Expo event. Various promotions will be available from August 2 to 3, 2025, at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC).
At this annual exhibition, the public has the opportunity to get train ticket discounts of up to 60 percent, with promotional prices starting from Rp69,000. Not only for the economy class, KAI also offers special prices for luxury class starting from Rp449,000.
KAI Public Relations Manager Jakarta, Ixfan Hendriwintoko, stated that all promo tickets are exclusively available during the two-day event and can only be purchased directly at the KAI Expo 2025 venue.
"This is a rare opportunity for the public, especially loyal train customers, to get affordable tickets while still prioritizing comfort and travel safety," Ixfan said, quoted from a written statement on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.
In addition to ticket discounts, Ixfan mentioned that visitors will enjoy various engaging activities at the event. KAI Expo 2025 will feature information booths, exhibitions of MSME products, entertainment shows, and various collaborations with KAI's strategic partners.
"This event is KAI's effort to strengthen its relationship with customers while also reinforcing its commitment to providing environmentally friendly and sustainable rail-based mass transportation," he added.
